Polži iz krednih skladov kamnoloma Stranice / Gastropods from the Cretaceous beds of the Stranice quarry, Slovenia

Povzetek

From the same beds in the quarry at Stranice were studied and repeatedly presented remains of Cretaceous foraminifers, corals and rudist bivalves. In the present contribution remains of various Upper Cretaceous gastropods are described. Thirty-six taxa are identified. Individual determined gastropod species from Stranice are typical and entirely comparable with gastropods of certain Austrian and other localities of the Gosau facies.

Iz istih skladov v kamnolomu pri Stranicah so že bili raziskovani in večkrat predstavljeni ostanki krednih foraminifer, koral in rudistnih školjk. V pričujočem prispevku so predstavljeni še ostanki različnih zgornjekrednih polžev. Določili smo 36 taksonov. Posamezne ugotovljene polžje vrste iz Stranic so tipične in povsem primerljive s polži nekaterih avstrijskih in drugih najdišč gosavskega ali podobnega faciesa in starosti.
