Based on our field research in 2018-2021 we recognized that the sedge that occurs in fens and springs under the ridge of Loška Stena above the Bala valley is not Carex brunnescens (as we reported in 2009), but C. canescens. We present new findings about sites of both sedges in Slovenia.

Prišli smo do novih spoznanj o rastiščih obeh omenjenih šašev v Sloveniji.
