Phytosociological characteristics of the sites of Peucedanum ostruthium in the Peca Mountains (the eastern Karavanke, NE Slovenia) / Fitocenološka oznaka rastišč vrste Peucedanum ostruthium v pogorju Pece v vzhodnih Karavankah
Abstract
We conducted a phytosociological inventory of new localities of Peucedanum ostruthium in the Peca Mountains in the eastern Karavanke. So far, these are the only localities of this species in Slovenia outside the Julian Alps. Peucedanum ostruthium was found in the elevation belt of 1460 m to 2050 m, in a tall herb community that bears its name because it is dominated by it (Peucedanetum ostruthii s. lat.), in pioneer larch stands classified into the association Rhodothamno-Laricetum s. lat. and in a special mesophilous form of southeast-Alpine dwarf pine (Rhododendro hirsuti-Pinetum mugo saxifragetosum rotundifoliae = Rhodothamno-Pinetum mugo saxifragetosum rotundifoliae).

Fitocenološko smo popisali nova nahajališča vrste Peucedanum ostruthium v pogorju Pece v vzhodnih Karavankah.
