Kredni kačjerep (Ophiuroidea) s pobočja Nanosa / Cretaceous brittle star (Ophiuroids) from the slope of Mt. Nanos, Slovenia
Abstract
V prispevku so obravnavani pomanjkljivo ohranjeni ostanki kačjerepa v manjšem kosu zgornjekrednega apnenca, ki je najden na pobočju Nanosa blizu zaselka Razdrto, v zahodnem delu Slovenije. Ustrezne taksonomske pripadnosti nismo uspeli ugotoviti, skeletni elementi pa najverjetneje pripadajo kačjerepu iz reda Ophiurida.

The subject of the article are incompletely preserved fossil remains of a brittle star in a smaller piece of Upper Cretaceous limestone found in the slope of Mt. Nanos not far from Razdrto settlement in western Slovenia. An appropriate taxonomic attribution could not be established, most probably the skeletal elements belong to a brittle star of the order Ophiurida.
