Paleogenske školjke iz Poljšice pri Podnartu / Paleogene bivalves from Poljšica near Podnart, Slovenia
Abstract
Obravnavani so ostanki paleogenskih školjk iz najdišč v okolici Poljšice pri Podnartu. Ugotovljenih je 40 različnih školjčnih vrst, ki nakazujejo spodnjeoligocensko starost tamkajšnjih biokalkruditov. Biokalkruditi so polni številnih ostankov najrazličnejših nevretenčarjev in zelo redkih vretenčarjev.

Described are remains of Paleogene bivalves from localities at Poljšica near Podnart, Slovenia. Determined were 40 distinct bivalve forms that prove the Early Oligocene age of fossiliferous biocalcirudites. The beds contain numerous remains of a variety of invertebrates and only very rare vertebrates.
