Megaselahus v miocenskih plaster kamnolomov Retje – Plesko nad Trbovljami / Megaselachus in the Miocene beds of Retje – Plesko quarries above Trbovlje, Slovenia
Abstract
V prispevku je obravnavan zob morskega psa vrste Megaselachus megalodon (Agassiz, 1835) iz srednjemiocenskih – badenijskih biokalkarenitov. Najdba izvira iz kamnolomov Retje – Plesko nad Trbovljami. Zobje megaselahusov so v Sloveniji razmeroma redki, ugotovljeni so deloma v spodnje, pretežno pa v srednjemiocenskih badenijskih skladih.

A tooth of shark species Megaselachus megalodon (Agassiz, 1835) from Middle Miocene – Badenian biocalcarenites is being described. The find comes from quarries at Retje – Plesko above Trbovlje. The Megaselachus teeth are relatively rare in Slovenia. They were recognized partly in Lower, and mainly in Middle Miocene Badenian beds.
