FAGOPYRUM journal intend to publish papers, presented at the 16th International Buckwheat Conference, Xichang, Sichuan, China.
The 16th International Buckwheat Symposium will take place in Xichang, Sichuan, China, at Qionghai Hotel near Qionghai Lake. The symposium will bring together researchers and professionals working in the fields of buckwheat germplasm resources, functional genomics, nutrition and health, deep processing and product development, genetic breeding, cultivation and agronomy, and the co-evolution of buckwheat with human and environmental systems.

The conference will be held in June 24 to 28 2026 and hosted by the Crop Science Society of China (CSSC), the Institute of Crop Sciences, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (ICS-CAAS), the Liangshan Academy of Agricultural Sciences (LAAS), and the International Buckwheat Research Association (IBRA). It is organized with the support of the Oat and Buckwheat Professional Committee of CSSC (OBPC-CSSC), the Liangshan Association of Agricultural Science Societies (LAASS), the Liangshan Buckwheat Association (LBA), Liangshan Culture & Tourism Investment Group Co., Ltd., and Xichang University (XU).
